Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking an Account Rep Trainee for the Fresno, CA area. The role focuses on maximizing dock and door equipment sales, developing existing accounts, and expanding the customer base within a defined territory.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate lift trucks for product demos. A bachelor’s degree in a related business field is a plus. Training and travel to Northern Kentucky may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the sale of dock and door equipment and parts & service for dock & door within a specified territory to meet sales objectives.
• Develop existing accounts and seek new business; analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships.
• Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers.
• Develop sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts; develop and conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations; prepare quotations and customer correspondence.
• Utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information; discuss sales activities with Sales Manager.
• Participate in ongoing training programs and meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales skills; this may include traveling to Northern Kentucky branch.
