Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation, a global lift truck leader, seeks a sales-focused professional to maximize dock and door equipment sales in a defined territory. You will develop existing accounts and pursue new business while building strong client relationships and a structured territory plan.

Responsibilities include staying current on products, documenting sales activity, and participating in ongoing training to sharpen selling skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.
• Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business-related fields.

Job Duties

• Responsible for maximizing the sale of dock and door equipment and parts & service for dock & door within a specified territory to meet sales objectives.
• Develop existing accounts & seek new business. Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, & develop strong business relationships. Consult & problem solve to enhance the Company’s position in existing & target accounts.
• Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers.
• Utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, & sales activity information. Discuss sales activities with Sales Manager.
• Participate in ongoing training programs and meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales skills. This may include traveling to Northern Kentucky branch.

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Intermediate computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

• Competitive Wages. The anticipated starting pay range for the position is $25- $30 per hour during the initial training period plus benefits, but is commensurate with skills and related experience,
