Job summary

State of West Virginia is seeking a Receiving and Processing Unit Manager to lead a team, schedule staff, and manage payroll and personnel actions. You will oversee mailroom and records workflows, assist with daily tasks, and ensure compliance with state policies.

The role requires staying current on training and driving may be required. A valid driver’s license and fingerprint background check are part of the requirements.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of full-time supervisory experience.
• Graduation from an accredited college or university.
• Willingness to undergo fingerprinting and a criminal background investigation.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly employee schedules and manage leave/payroll.
• Oversee personnel actions including planning, assignment of duties, hiring and discipline.
• Guide mailroom and records workflows; answer inquiries on addresses and package tracking.
• Assist with daily tasks during absences; manage loading dock operations and delivery logistics.
• Ensure staff stay current on training; stay knowledgeable on WV DMV, state government and DOT policies.
