Eversource Energy in the United States is seeking an engineer to support the execution, implementation, and maintenance of electric network modeling tools including the DMS and Synergi Electric.

You will collaborate across IT, GIS and engineering teams, develop project documentation, and help modernize grid operations while traveling between MA/CT/NH as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3–5 years of related experience required; salary range $100,490–$111,660 annually; EEO employer.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 3–5 years related engineering experience is required.
• Experience modeling electric distribution systems and load flow.
• Willingness to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a subject matter expert in modeling tools and real-time technologies such as Synergi Electric, Transformer Load Management (TLM), Volt/Var Optimization (VVO), GIS, SCADA, and AMI.
• Collaborate with IT, GIS and interdepartmental engineering resources to ensure Synergi and DMS model functionality and future enhancements.
• Support the development of project approval documentation with need statement, scope, description of technical solution, alternatives considered, risks and mitigations, budget, and schedule.
• Participate in the investigation of new technologies and tools; assess relevance and benefit to the Company’s operations.
• Develop tools and methods to process data from multiple sources to design/verify engineering models and databases.
• Support multi-disciplinary teams across three states to ensure effective implementation of grid operations technologies.
