Job summary

Turkey Hill is seeking a District Manager in Training (DMIT) to lead a team of Store Managers across multiple locations, delivering guest-focused service and operational excellence.

You will work hands-on through training phases, travel to stores nationwide, develop staffing plans, coach managers, review P&L, and drive profitability across the region.

This role requires 10+ years of retail management experience, strong leadership, and willingness to relocate for multi-site oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School or GED; a college degree is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of retail experience with restaurant/general management.
• DMIT program completion and leadership track record are required.
• Preferred multi-unit experience in c-store or restaurant environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement a strategic plan for area to include staffing and development.
• Oversee engagement and productivity across a wide network of locations.
• Demonstrate leadership by setting goals, accountability, and clear communication.
• Develop leadership by hiring/promoting store management and training teams.
• Analyze financials, including P&L, gaps, expenses, and inventory control.
• Conduct weekly store visits to ensure standards and controls.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and product quality while maintaining safety.
• Drive food service sales and monitor safety and service standards.
