Job summary

Turkey Hill Minit Markets is seeking a District Manager In Training (DMIT) to train for leading multiple stores and ensure an exceptional guest experience across a wide network. You will oversee Store Managers, drive profitability, oversee staffing and compliance, and develop a high-performing leadership team.

Phase I and Phase II training cover foundational onboarding, MIT training, and a 2–3 month store assignment, followed by field leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School or GED.
• Preferred: College degree in business.
• Minimum experience: 10 years retail experience in restaurant general management.
• Preferred experience: 1-3 years multi-unit c-store/restaurant environment.
• Travel: 95% traveling to store locations.

Responsibilities

• Build a strategic area plan including staffing and performance.
• Oversee engagement and productivity across many locations.
• Set clear goals, maintain accountability and communicate effectively.
• Develop leadership by hiring/promoting store management for future needs.
• Analyze financials, P&L, costs, and inventory to improve profitability.
• Conduct weekly store visits to ensure standards and controls.
• Ensure guest satisfaction, product quality, and safety across the territory.
• Lead food service initiatives to increase sales and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Region Manager.
• Ability to perform essential functions with/without accommodations.
