Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business with strong knowledge of store systems and basic automotive parts. The role will source parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers, while maintaining inventory and service standards.

The position can be part time or full time, requiring basic driving, safe operation of inventory systems, and friendly customer communication. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to provide excellent DIY customer service and build strong relationships.
• Familiarity with store inventory, safety, and basic car parts knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installations and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
• Keep store clean and stocked; deliver parts to customers as needed.
