Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and help meet sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

The position can be part time or full time, with fleet safety certification preferred. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality customer service, handling inventory processes, and performing DIY services such as battery

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Basic driving and navigation ability.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic knowledge of store systems and parts knowledge.
• Fleet safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking responsibilities
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
