Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales/service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

The position can be part-time or full-time, with responsibilities covering customer service, inventory, and safe handling of parts. Fleet safety certification is preferred and driving to deliver parts may be required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful retail sales experience.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math and reading comprehension.
• Ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.
• Basic automotive knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
