Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives. The role combines customer interaction with basic automotive knowledge and parts sourcing across stores, hubs and external suppliers.

The position can be part time or full time, requiring basic inventory, store systems proficiency and a willingness to work varied hours. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and catalogs.
• Strong customer service mindset with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in store and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach targets.
• Perform DIY services such as battery/wiper installations and testing.
• Maintain store standards and manage inventory processes including cycle counts.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed and support stock rotation.
