Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and hit sales and service goals. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

It can be part-time or full-time, with fleet safety certification preferred. The position emphasizes excellent customer service, basic technical skills, and reliable teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and build relationships.
• Basic math and handheld device literacy for POS and lookups.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals through upselling and service.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store standards, inventory accuracy, and POS operations.
• Assist with inventory processes including truck put away and cycle counts.
