Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business with knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and parts sourcing. The role has the ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers, and requires in-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes.

Entry level position with part-time or full-time options; strong focus on customer service, sales goals, and safe operation of tools and equipment. Fleet safety certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively and build relationships with customers and team.
• Read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and parts catalogs.
• Basic math skills; handle units, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away and cycle counts.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
