Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service goals. The role requires store system knowledge, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

Position can be part-time or full-time, with fleet safety certification preferred. The successful candidate will assist DIY customers in person and by phone, drive personal sales, and help maintain inventory and store standards while performing

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Basic math skills for transactions and inventory tasks.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach overall targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
