Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive systems, and part knowledge.

It may be part time or full time, with fleet safety certification preferred. The role involves helping customers in-store and over the phone, performing DIY services, maintaining inventory standards, and supporting inventory processes such as cycle counts and back stock.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Basic math and reading comprehension for safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
