Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

It may be part-time or full-time, with Fleet safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include assisting DIY customers in-store and by phone, meeting sales goals, performing DIY services, and maintaining inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Basic knowledge of store systems and inventory processes.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and over the phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Keep store clean, organized, and welcoming.
