Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business, achieve sales and service objectives, and develop knowledge of store systems, parts, and automotive basics.

This role can be part time or full time, with weekend availability, and safety training such as fleet certification preferred. Responsibilities include assisting DIY customers in person and by phone, delivering parts, stocking shelves, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Must speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends.
• Basic math and reading of safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to locate and stock parts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and stocking; safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
