Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson (entry level) to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, parts knowledge, and factory training on inventory and safety processes.

It can be part time or full time, with fleet safety certification preferred. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service for DIY visits and phone calls, perform basic DIY services, and maintain merchandise and store standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet overall targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper replacements.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
