Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

The position can be part time or full time, with fleet safety certification preferred. The role emphasizes accuracy in inventory, customer service, and performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper replacements.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock.
