Job summary

Chord Energy in Houston seeks a Division Order Analyst to oversee title ownership and DOI processes within a defined geographic area. You will review titles, agreements, and curative data to produce ownership decks and ensure accurate divisions for billing and revenue.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in division orders, familiarity with Enertia Land System, and strong communication skills. Hybrid work with some in-person duties in downtown Houston is available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Division Order Analyst.
• Experience with Marcellus, Montana and North Dakota is a major plus.
• Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication are required.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and ensure accuracy of record title ownership divisions for billing and revenue in Enertia Land System.
• Ensure timely payment of royalties per state statutes.
• Analyze title opinions, contracts, leases, and related documents to determine ownership and lease burden for production proceeds.
• Work with Land staff to clear and cure title.
• Process probate information and transfer documents from interest owners to maintain correct DOI.
• Maintain and adjust divisions of interest as payouts or recompletions occur.
• Provide area updates on a recurring basis to relevant teams.
• Coordinate with Accounting for revenue distribution and adjustments.
• Review legal documents/transfers of title to perform mass updates in Enertia Land System.
