Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district. The role focuses on safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization services while supporting the Pharmacy Manager and district leadership.

This is a part-time position requiring travel within a reasonable radius. The DSP will help manage pharmacy operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and support inventory, patient care, and team development.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Help manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling and immunizations.
• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts and support the Pharmacy Manager.
• Oversee pharmacy operations and guide the pharmacy team during shifts.
• Support accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Provide compassionate patient care and assist the healthcare team to resolve issues.
