Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. The role focuses on scheduling, patient care, immunizations, and ensuring safe dispensing practices.

The DSP will travel within the district to cover shifts, act as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager when needed, and collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care. This is a part-time position with weekend availability and driving requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) is required.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps within the district as directed by the Pharmacy Manager and DL.
• Assist with management, oversight, and operation of the pharmacy and pharmacy team.
• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing and bench shifts as needed.
• Engage in immunizations and patient care while ensuring safety and accuracy of dispensing.
