Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to help cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district. You will support the pharmacy team, ensure safe and accurate dispensing, and play a key role in patient care through counseling and immunizations where permissible.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Maintain focus: concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Provide excellent customer service and team orientation to assist patients and colleagues.
• Communicate effectively with patients and teammates, both verbally and in writing.
• Use mathematical reasoning to calculate prescription details (days supply, bottles, etc.).
• Resolve patient or colleague issues by choosing best course of action.
• Maintain physical readiness for job duties, including lifting and moving items as needed.
• Adhere to CVS Health policies and procedures to support patient safety and confidentiality.
