Job summary

Alteration Specialists is seeking a Studio Area Manager to lead a district of 3–5 Alts studios in the New York Metropolitan Area. You will own district performance, align front-of-house and tailoring leadership, and translate company strategy into field execution.

You will drive client experience, production efficiency, labor cost management, and quality while developing strong leaders who can run autonomous studios.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-unit leadership experience in a service, hospitality, retail, or operational business, or significant senior single-unit leadership experience.
• Experience directly managing and developing managers.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and performance-management skills.
• Ability to set clear expectations, conduct effective reviews, and develop leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall performance of a district of 3–5 studios, including client experience, productivity, and profitability.
• Lead and coach Shop Experience Managers and Tailoring Shop Managers to operate as a unified leadership team.
• Drive district-level client experience, production speed, and quality while controlling labor costs.
• Develop action plans with measurable outcomes and ensure follow-through to improvement.
• Build a strong leadership bench and plan for the succession of Store/Studio Managers.
