Job summary

Bruegger’s Bagels in Belmont, MA is seeking a District Shift Leader who will train as a General Manager. You will manage bakery operations, lead teams, and support other locations in the market. The development plan culminates in a GM promotion when a position becomes available.

Shifts start as early as 3am; you’ll coach staff, ensure safety and quality, and represent the brand. This role offers competitive hourly pay, benefits, and a path to store ownership in the market.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to work varied hours including early mornings and weekends.
• Pass background check and possess a current, valid driver’s license.
• Must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan.

Responsibilities

• Lead district stores from a home location and support other bakeries as needed.
• Participate in GM development plan and prepare for permanent GM promotion.
• Oversee daily operations: inventory, scheduling, training, and coaching.
• Ensure high-quality food and beverage and maintain a safe, clean store environment.
