Job summary

Einstein Bros Bagels in Vestavia Hills, AL is seeking a District Shift Leader as part of our GM development track. You’ll start at a home bakery, learn operations and leadership skills, and rotate to support other locations as needed.

Primary duties include coaching teams, managing store performance, inventory, scheduling, and assisting with hiring as you prepare for a General Manager role when available. Must be 18+ and ready to grow with us.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass background check and possess a valid driver’s license
• Must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by end of the GM development plan
• Must be able to work varied hours including early hours and weekends (as early as 3am)
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations

Responsibilities

• Lead at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed
• Provide ongoing coaching and training for teams
• Ensure high-quality food and beverages and a safe, clean store environment
• Assist with inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management
• Prepare for a General Manager promotion when a position is available
