Job summary

Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a District Shift Leader to perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market. Early hours start at 3am, with focus on coaching teams and maintaining product quality.

The role is a development pathway toward a General Manager position, with rotations, training on inventory, vendor orders, and cash management within the Bagel Brands ecosystem.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to work varied hours/days including early hours and weekends (as early as 3am).
• Must pass background check and have a valid driver's license.
• Must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification by end of GM development plan if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Manage bakery operations at home location and support other bakeries in the market.
• Travel within the market to gain experience and learn from other leaders.
• Lead by example, coach and train teams, and ensure high-quality food and a safe store environment.
• Participate in inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management as part of GM development.
• Position serves as a stepping stone to a General Manager role when available.
