Job summary

Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a District Shift Leader in the Birmingham, AL area to rise into General Manager roles. You will manage at a home bakery, coach teams, and support other locations in the market, with shifts starting as early as 3am and weekends required.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma, 2+ years of leadership experience, and must pass a background check. ServSafe certification is required by the end of the development plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must pass background check and have a valid driver’s license.
• Complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification by end of GM development plan.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, be a brand ambassador, and coach/training for bakery teams.
• Perform management duties at the home location and support other bakeries in the market.
• Learn and apply P&L analysis, food cost, labor targets, scheduling, and recruiting.
• Shifts start as early as 3am and require varying hours including weekends.
