Job summary

Einstein Bros Bagels in Palatine, IL is seeking a District Shift Leader to progress toward General Manager. You’ll start by managing a home bakery, support other locations, and travel as needed to develop leadership skills. expect early shifts as early as 3am and hands-on coaching to ensure top-quality service.

You’ll learn inventory, vendor orders, cash management, and P&L concepts while aiming for a GM promotion within the market. 18+ and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must pass background check and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification by end of GM development plan.

Responsibilities

• Perform management duties at the home location and support other bakeries in the market.
• Lead by example, coach and train teams, and ensure high-quality food and safe, clean stores.
• Learn P&L, food cost and labor targets, scheduling, and recruiting as GM development progresses.
