Job summary

Einstein Bros Bagels is seeking a District Shift Leader to participate in a targeted General Manager development plan and ultimately take ownership of a bakery as a GM when a position is available. District Shift Leaders start early, lead by example, coach teams, and may support other bakeries in the market.

Shifts begin as early as 3am to begin baking and opening the store, with opportunities to progress into a GM role while maintaining a balance with personal life as provided by the brand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must pass background check and possess a current, valid driver’s license.
• Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification by end of the GM development plan.

Responsibilities

• Perform management duties at home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed.
• Lead by example, be a brand ambassador, and provide coaching and training for teams.
• Help manage inventory, scheduling and recruitment as you grow toward GM.
• Maintain high-quality food and a safe, clean store environment.
