Job summary

Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a District Shift Leader to participate in a targeted General Manager development plan and progress to a bakery GM when a position is available. You will manage a home location and support others in the market, starting as early as 3am to open and run store duties.

The role includes coaching teams, maintaining a safe, clean store, and learning P&L, food cost, and labor targets. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass background check and possess a current, valid driver’s license.
• Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by end of GM development plan, if not already possessed.

Responsibilities

• Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed.
• Lead by example, be a brand ambassador, and provide coaching and training for teams.
• Learn to manage inventory tracking, vendor orders, cash management, food cost and labor targets, scheduling, and recruiting.
