Job summary

Allied Universal in Honolulu is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support the Account Manager in supervising, training, and coordinating security operations at the assigned post. You will guide Security Professionals, maintain post orders, and ensure smooth client service while upholding internal procedures and standards.

The role involves interviewing and onboarding staff, evaluating performance, maintaining incident reports, and coordinating with shift supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of supervisory experience at middle-management level in a certified organization.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholder groups.
• ACE-Security certification or equivalent within 12 months of appointment.
• State license pre-approval and background check requirements apply.
• Experience in leadership, training, and developing a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of all aspects of executing the security contract at the site.
• Supervise, motivate, coach and train Security Professionals and shift Supervisors as applicable.
• Maintain post orders, training materials, and ensure site cleanliness and organization.
• Conduct interviews, onboarding, and on-job training for new staff.
• Oversee reports, logs, and communications within the Security Department.
• Manage sub-units (fire control, command center, loading docks) as applicable.
• Respond to incidents and notify appropriate parties promptly.
• Identify personnel issues and support escalation to Account Manager or HR.
• Recommend counseling or disciplinary actions as directed.
• Respond to client or site emergencies and maintain client relationships.
• May perform Security Professional duties up to 50% of time.
