Job summary

Spectrum Brands is seeking a District Sales Representative to service Home & Garden products at national big-box accounts such as The Home Depot, Lowe's and Walmart. You will report to the Area Sales Manager within an established territory and drive sales initiatives at store level.

You will travel extensively, maintain alignment with account plans, and build strong relationships with store personnel to maximize product visibility and profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or additional training preferred.
• 1–2 years of sales/retail experience.
• Leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales goals by maintaining store presentation standards through resets, fixtures, upkeep, and displays.
• Plan store visits for efficiency and effectiveness and execute planograms first.
• Build relationships with store management and key decision makers to drive sales opportunities.
• Provide product knowledge training to store personnel to enable better selling to end users.
• Identify opportunities for incremental display space to drive volume and ensure safety and compliance.
