Job summary

Amgen is actively seeking a District Sales Manager to serve as the liaison between our customers and medical professionals, delivering clinical knowledge about our medicines.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Sales/Marketing experience.
• Masters degree and 6 years of Sales/Marketing experience.
• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of Sales/Marketing experience.
• Associates degree and 10 years of Sales/Marketing experience.
• High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Sales/Marketing experience.
• 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers by providing clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with District Sales Managers, Regional Sales Directors and Corporate Account Managers.
• Track progress of marketing messages and programs; provide feedback to district teams on resources.
• Screen, interview, and hire candidates; manage district teams to maximize performance and meet sales targets.
• Conduct district sales meetings and develop local Opinion Leader relationships.
