Amgen is seeking a District Sales Manager to act as the clinical liaison to medical professionals and lead district-level sales efforts in Southern New England. You will collaborate with district teams, regional sales directors, and other business units to pursue a patient‑focused mission and drive performance.

The role emphasizes coaching, hiring, and cross-functional teamwork across Marketing, Finance, and other units, with opportunities for career development and flexible work arrangements

Formación

• Doctorate/masters/bachelors/associates/high school with required sales/marketing experience per the job ad.
• 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leading teams.
• 3+ years of specialty sales experience.
• Experience in biologics is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Track the progress of marketing messages and programs.
• Provide feedback to district teams on marketing, allocating, monitoring, and leveraging resources.
• Manage district teams to maximize performance and achieve sales targets.
• Screen, interview, and hire candidates.
• Ensure compliance with training.
• Demonstrate coaching to develop individuals.
• Conduct performance reviews and competency assessments.
• Coordinate with district and cross-functional teams.
• Share best practices with direct reports and peers.
• Coordinate and participate in cluster teams.
• Conduct district sales meetings to guide districts.
• Develop local Opinion Leader relationships to achieve objectives.
