Job summary

Paychex is seeking a District Sales Leader to expand the client base and drive revenue growth by executing strategic sales and marketing programs. You will lead and implement initiatives to ensure the district meets or exceeds targets.

You will recruit, coach, and supervise sales staff, cultivate partnerships with accounting professionals, and work with cross-functional teams to achieve corporate objectives. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
• 3 years of sales leadership experience.
• Outside sales experience required.
• Sales management experience preferred.
• HCM experience preferred.
• Budgeting experience preferred.
• Strong product and market knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to meet activity metrics, quotas, and revenue targets as directed by the Zone Manager.
• Coach, supervise, and train sales reps in technical, competitive, and sales skills knowledge.
• Manage product line performance within district budgets and corporate objectives.
• Recruit, select, and direct sales staff to meet goals and forecast; adjust actions as needed.
• Identify leadership candidates and elevate to Zone Manager.
• Develop a referral network with CPAs, enrolled agents, and bookkeepers via sales staff.
• Collaborate with service, HR/OD, and other sales divisions to align mutual objectives.
• Ensure accuracy of weekly activity reports and audit commissions/expenses.
