Job summary

Paychex is seeking a District Sales Manager to drive client base growth by executing approved sales and marketing programs within the district. You will recruit and lead sales staff, monitor performance against forecasts, and manage budgets while upholding the company’s values.

You will collaborate with branch managers to set mutual goals, train reps in product and sales skills, and project a strong, professional image in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Marketing.
• 3 years of experience in Outside Sales Management.
• Outside Sales - Required.
• Management - Required.
• HCM Experience - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages district sales effort in accordance with corporate guidelines to increase client base through approved programs.
• Recruits, selects, and directs sales staff to meet or exceed corporate goals and monitors attainment vs forecast.
• Identifies potential management candidates and brings them to the attention of the Zone Manager.
• Manages line-by-line items of corporate budgets.
• Projects a positive image representing the corporation to clients and the community.
• Develops objectives with branch managers and solves problems using partnership principles.
