Job summary

Paychex in Tempe, AZ is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead district sales efforts in alignment with corporate guidelines. Your primary goal will be to expand our client base by implementing targeted and approved sales programs.

You will recruit, coach, and direct sales staff to meet or exceed goals, manage budgets, build a strong referral network with CPAs, enrolled agents, and bookkeepers, and ensure customer success and retention of MMS clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Marketing is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in Sales leadership is required.
• 2 years of experience in HCM is preferred.
• Problem solving skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead district sales efforts in alignment with corporate guidelines.
• Expand client base by implementing targeted sales programs.
• Recruit, develop, and direct sales staff to meet goals.
• Monitor forecasts and take corrective action.
• Build a referral network among CPAs, enrolled agents, and bookkeepers.
• Ensure customer success and retention of MMS client base.
• Drive revenue growth from Paychex solutions.
• Maintain accurate weekly activity and expense reports.
• Oversee budgets and line-item expenses.
• Collaborate with branch managers on objectives and problem-solving.
• Identify potential management candidates for succession.
• Represent the company with a positive image to clients and community.
