AbbVie is seeking a field-based District Sales leader within the United States to drive top- and bottom-line results. The role requires residence within a reasonable distance from the primary city and a level commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (health/sciences/pharmacy or business-related) or equivalent experience.
Business analysis and planning skills that drive sales performance.
Ability to articulate scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas.
Proven ability to deliver candid feedback and manage performance.
Ability to develop talent and promote opportunities.
Ability to influence across organizations without authority.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to cover territory.

Responsibilities

Coordinate in-field activity to achieve sales targets and optimize market, segment, and team dynamics.
Create, implement, and communicate District Sales Plan and monitor progress.
Foster collaborative execution and set the tone for business processes.
Present market and franchise perspectives while leading in-field meetings and product/disease state knowledge.
Coach and develop direct and indirect team members to raise performance.
Provide direction to internal partners in business planning.
Demonstrate AbbVie Ways of Working consistently.
