Job summary

Tuff Shed, Inc. is seeking a District Sales Manager Retail (DSM-Retail) to lead the retail sales channel in an assigned district and drive top-line growth.

You’ll oversee SDCs, recruit and train staff, manage CRM usage, and ensure adherence to company policies while traveling up to 70% as needed. Responsibilities include coaching, performance reviews, event planning, and collaboration with the GM/DM to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in successful business-to-consumer sales and sales management.
• Hands-on computer skills in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce or similar).
• Ability to communicate at all levels with customers, partners, suppliers, and staff.
• Ability to solve complex business problems using sound judgment.
• Ability to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to prepare professional written correspondence and reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day performance and outcomes of SDCS in the district (KPI tracking).
• Support sales staff to achieve leads and assist in closing large/complex sales with pricing input from RSD.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and CRM health checks with SDCs.
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage district sales personnel; onboard and coach staff.
• Lead safety training and safety meetings; manage event planning for local districts.
• Coordinate with GM/DM for scheduling, customer service and communication.
