Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a District Manager to lead assigned districts to operational success and profitability across operations, marketing, sales, and fleet management. You will set plans, monitor performance, forecast financials, and build strong local partnerships to drive revenue growth.

The role requires several years of operations and sales experience, supervisory leadership, and a strong grasp of budgeting, staffing, and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field required.
• Three or more years of operations and sales experience, with at least one year in supervision.
• Strong business knowledge to lead multiple markets/locations.
• Excellent management skills across large staff and locations.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills to forecast performance.
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Interpersonal and coaching skills; ability to motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Develops city operating plans to maximize revenue and market share.
• Sets monthly goals for location performance metrics.
• Forecasts and manages revenue, transactions, and fleet size.
• Directs fleet distribution and vehicle availability across locations.
• Oversees maintenance and reconditioning of fleet vehicles.
• Evaluates inventories to maintain proper fleet mix and age.
• Collaborates with Sales and Marketing on local plans.
• Reviews capital projects and financial reports.
• Directs payments and personnel records processing.
• Builds relationships with local businesses and government agencies.
• Ensures Quality Assurance standards are maintained.
• Hires, trains, and evaluates staff; implements HR policies.
