Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a District Manager to lead and develop a district of locations in Tennessee, driving operational success and financial profitability across operations, marketing, sales, maintenance, and risk management. You will set city operating plans, monitor performance, forecast budgets, manage fleets, and build relationships with local organizations.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in operations/sales with supervisory experience, plus strong leadership and analytical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field (or equivalent in education, experience or training).
• Three or more years operations and sales experience, with at least one year at the supervisory level, preferably in a vehicle rental or related industry.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills to track all appropriate operational measures and forecast operational performance results.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and communicates city operating plans to maximize revenue and market share.
• Monitors performance against plan and revises plans to maximize profits.
• Sets monthly goals for locations’ key operating metrics (revenue per unit, revenue, transactions).
• Forecasts, budgets and manages key financial drivers of a city.
• Directs fleet distribution and maintenance activities for fleet availability and condition.
• Oversees capital projects and vendor/payable processes.
