Avis Budget Group is seeking a District Manager to lead and develop assigned districts, driving operations, sales, and profitability across locations in the Chicago area. You will manage fleet, QA standards, budgets, and staff, while partnering with sales and marketing to achieve growth and efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in operations/sales leadership, with a valid driver's license and strong communication and coaching skills. Salary ranges listed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business or related field (or equivalent).
• Three+ years operations and sales experience with supervisory duties.
• Strong business knowledge to lead multiple markets/locations.
• Excellent management and organizational skills.
• Analytical ability to forecast performance metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Interpersonal and coaching skills for large teams.
• Ability to interact with internal and external customers at all levels.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and communicates city operating plans to maximize revenue and market share.
• Monitors performance and revises plans to maximize profits.
• Sets monthly goals for locations’ key KPIs including revenue and transactions.
• Forecasts, budgets and manages key financial drivers of a city.
• Directs fleet distribution and maintenance activities across locations.
• Oversees inventory and fleet mix to maintain optimal levels.
• Collaborates with Corporate Sales and Marketing on plans and policies.
• Reviews capital projects and analyzes operational reports.
• Directs payroll and personnel records; builds staff partnerships and development plans.
