Job summary

Canteen, a Compass Group brand, is hiring a District Operations Manager to partner with district leadership, drive operational excellence, and support administrative operations, systems, reporting, and process improvement across the district.

The role focuses on improving efficiency, data accuracy, and execution of district objectives, coordinating with managers and cross-functional teams to deliver service excellence and growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in business, operations, supply chain, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in operations, logistics, route-based distribution, or refreshment services.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and metrics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute district operational strategies to drive service excellence and profitable growth.
• Serve as the primary operational resource for route drivers and field teams, resolving issues and removing barriers.
• Monitor route performance and productivity through daily/weekly/monthly reports; identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with district leadership to forecast, manage inventory, and optimize labor.
• Provide coaching and development to drivers and field staff; ensure safety and service standards.
