Job summary

Canteen, a Compass Group company, is seeking a District Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across warehouse and distribution within Canteen Refreshment Services. You will partner with district and warehouse leadership to improve inventory accuracy, productivity, labor utilization, safety, customer service, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business, or related field
• 3+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain
• Experience leading warehouse teams in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of inventory control, WMS, receiving, shipping, and fulfillment processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coaching skills
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety practices, and continuous improvement methods
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead through change

Responsibilities

• Execute district operational strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, service levels, and profitability
• Oversee receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, and shipping activities
• Manage workforce planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimization
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and accuracy
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization and cost reduction
• Maintain inventory integrity through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation
• Analyze warehouse metrics including inventory accuracy, fulfillment rates, labor utilization, and productivity
• Identify trends and develop action plans to improve operational performance and inventory control
• Support forecasting and inventory planning to ensure product availability
