Job summary

Canteen is seeking a District Operations Manager to oversee Micro Markets, Vending, and Coffee Service across multiple sites in the district. The role partners with the District General Manager to drive operational excellence, financial performance, and exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in multi-site operations, strong financial acumen, and a proven ability to coach leaders and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher preferred, with 3+ years in ops management.
• Experience leading multiple locations or supervisors and frontline leaders.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations across multiple Micro Market, Vending, and Coffee Service locations.
• Drive productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor district performance and ensure budget alignment with objectives.
• Analyze metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Partner with local leadership to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and company policies.
• Support new account openings, market deployments, and service transitions.
• Collaborate with sales teams to support retention and growth.
• Coach Customer Service Managers and frontline leaders to strengthen performance.
• Assist with workforce planning and employee engagement initiatives.
• Support labor relations activities where applicable.
• Serve as liaison between field operations, customers, and district leadership.
