Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. seeks a District Operations Manager to oversee all phases of district operations and ensure adherence to company standards. You will lead store visits focusing on people, service, contribution and shrink reduction while guiding teams to meet sales and profit goals.

You will recruit, train and develop store management, leverage data for trends, and ensure safety and compliance across locations. Regular in-office oversight with hybrid work is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage district operations and lead store teams.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and select talented people and build succession plans.
• Ensure adherence to Ross HR policies and safety.
• Serve as a point of contact for Customer Service issues in the district.
• Drive district sales and profit goals while meeting Customer Service goals.
• Leverage data to understand trends and problem solve across locations.
• Control payroll hours within budget and align with business needs.
• Reduce shrink through loss prevention initiatives.
• Ensure proper merchandising presentation in line with company standards.
