ALDI is seeking motivated individuals for the District Manager Trainee (DMT) program. Over a 44-week training period, you will gain knowledge to oversee multiple stores, work with store managers to ensure service excellence, and drive sales growth. The role covers areas within the Mt.

Juliet Division serving the Greater Knoxville area. Starting salary is $95,000 with a $5,000 signing bonus, and potential increases to $110,000 after Year 2, $120,000 after Year 3, and $130,000 after Year 4.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• Willingness to travel domestically daily.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to store management to ensure desired results; leads and develops store management personnel.
• Leads, develops, and supervises the district manager team to develop sales and high performance.
• Supports store management in fostering a positive working environment and teamwork.
• Develops and implements action plans to improve operating results.
• Oversees staffing and personnel decisions within the district.
• Trains and develops direct reports to reach maximum potential.
• Monitors store employees’ performance and provides feedback and coaching.
• Ensures compliance with policies and safety standards.
• Oversees expense, inventory, and cash handling procedures to minimize losses.
• Plans district weekly operations calls and trainings.
