Job summary

ALDI is seeking motivated individuals for the District Manager Trainee (DMT) program in the Washington, DC area. You will receive a 44-week training and gain hands-on experience overseeing multiple stores, ensuring customer service excellence and sales growth.

The role involves leading store managers, developing teams, and implementing action plans. Starting salary is $95,000 with a $5,000 signing bonus and aggressive growth milestones through Years 2–4.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• Ability to develop rapport, trust, and open communication that enhances team performance.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of financial performance and ability to apply data to decisions.

Responsibilities

• Direct and develop store management to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets.
• Lead and supervise district store managers to ensure high performance and teamwork.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and staff development across stores in the district.
• Develop action plans to improve operating results with company resources.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations across the district.
