Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group seeks a District Manager who will oversee the performance of Restaurant Management Teams within the district, ensuring each team meets job responsibilities and standards across all areas.

You will train, coach, and develop General Managers and GMITs, monitor QSC and financial results, and partner with marketing to optimize local strategies while upholding food safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years restaurant experience required.
• 3-5 years in management positions (preferably multi-unit restaurant experience including full-service, fast food or convenience).
• Financial planning aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P & L management.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all District Team Members are trained, motivated, and empowered to deliver total Guest satisfaction.
• Evaluates each restaurant’s QSC standards; provides regular feedback and coaching on improvement; conducts inspections.
• Communicates customer comments and concerns to the appropriate Restaurant Manager; follows up to ensure timely resolution.
• Ensures General Managers and GMITs receive orientation, training, and development opportunities.
• Trains, coaches, and provides regular performance feedback to motivate and improve performance of all Team Members.
• Evaluates overall performance of General Managers and GMITs against established standards.
• Provides counseling and/or discipline when needed.
• Facilitates training and rollout of new products, programs, and changes.
• Active recruitment of new General Managers and GMITs; matches leadership to restaurant needs for optimum results.
• Analyzes business performance; initiates corrective actions when deviations occur from financial expectations.
• Supports company-wide marketing programs; evaluates local restaurant marketing strategies.
• Ensures business and personnel practices comply with law and company policies.
• Serves as a role model and sets a positive example for the team in all aspects of business and personnel management.
• Negotiates district vendor contracts; follows approval processes.
• Upholds food safety, handling, and sanitation requirements to protect guests and staff.
