Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group is seeking a District Manager to lead and coach Restaurant Management Teams across the district, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to standards.

You will mentor General Managers and GMITs, drive financial performance, and support marketing programs while ensuring legal and policy compliance. This role requires travel and a hands-on management approach.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years previous restaurant experience required.
• 3-5 years in management positions (multi-unit experience preferred).
• Financial planning aptitude including budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all Team Members in the District are trained, motivated, and empowered to deliver total Guest satisfaction.
• Evaluates each restaurant’s QSC standards and provides regular feedback and coaching.
• Communicates customer comments to the appropriate Restaurant Manager and ensures timely follow-up.
• Ensures General Managers and GMITs receive orientation, training, and development opportunities.
• Trains, coaches, and provides regular performance feedback to motivate staff.
• Evaluates GM and GMIT performance against clear standards and expectations.
• Provides counseling and/or discipline when needed.
• Recruits General Managers and GMITs and matches talent to store needs.
• Analyzes business performance and initiates corrective actions when deviations occur.
